Dr Grethé Koen qualified as a dentist from the University of the Western Cape in 2011. Her interest in precision and problem-solving led her to pursue postgraduate training, completing Diplomas in Implantology (2013) and Endodontics (2015). It was during this time that she discovered her true passion for endodontics, which became the focus of her professional journey.

By 2018, Dr Koen had limited her practice exclusively to endodontics, working as part of a specialist team in Gauteng. She is a CPD-accredited lecturer in endodontics and has also completed advanced training in aesthetic procedures for both functional and cosmetic enhancement.

Since relocating to the Western Cape in 2021, Dr Koen has been practising general dentistry in Citrusdal while continuing to provide specialist endodontic treatment at HBDS.
