With the implementation of Level Four regulations, we are now able to expand the scope of services we offer to our patients to also include essential treatment, over and above the emergency therapies that we have been providing under Level 5 Lockdown. Essential services include dental examinations and assessments to enable us to identify any problems that may affect your future health, as well as certain restorative and oral hygienist services.

We wish to assure you that safety is paramount. HBDS has adopted stringent protocols to protect both our patients and our personnel. The South African Dental Association has published guidelines to this effect, and we are pre-screening all patients for Covid-19 symptoms before their appointment. To ensure proper social distancing, we've reduced the occupancy of our practice by rotating our experienced dental teams, while simultaneously limiting the number of patients in the dental practice at any one time.

On arrival, we kindly request that patients advise us telephonically or by ringing the doorbell. When we are ready we will escort you into the practice. Regrettably, accompanying persons will have to wait outside. When entering the practice you would be required to fill out a Coronavirus Consent form, or hand in the completed form which can be downloaded here.
